Interruption - Another Tag - 11 things - And I'm not complaining :D

Tagged by the lovely KofyKat from KofyKat and cannot wait to do this one. Basically all you've gotta do is put down 11 things about yourself and then answer 11 questions by the person who tagged you.
 So here I go:

1. I am addicted to cleaning my ears too often. Not a good thing. 
2. I am a complete Emotional Eater. I tend to resort to food when I am upset. Much like Po, the KungFu Panda.
3. I really wanna open up a small bakery someday!
4. I sometimes trust people too easily. Very gullible. Again, not a good thing.
5. Which is why I try to avoid conversation with people altogether! 
6. Getting my nails done myself has been the latest obsession.
7. I have watched the movie "Despicable Me" thrice in the last 2 days.
8. If I ever get to know that someone lied to me, then that pretty much seals the deal. I will never be able to view that person with the same respect ever again.
9. Even when I cook and bake so much, I think Chocolate is overrated.
10. I secretly collect bridal magazines.
11. You can never have too much Pani Puri.

1. Which is the one country you would love to visit and why?
London. I am surprised I've never been and I am dying to visit!

2. When you hear that a book is being made into a movie, what would you do, watch the movie first or read the book first (assuming you haven’t read the book)?
I am so not into reading! So almost always the movie!

3. how long have you been blogging? And what difference has it made in your life?
Over 3 years. And yes, it has been like a dear diary as well as a vocabulary enhancer :) Never too late to learn new words!

4. The colour you turn to when you’re in a bad mood?
Blue. I am so blue when I am in a bad mood!!

5. How much of a product junkie are you?
Hardly. I am all about thrift shopping!

6. Sibling love. Love hate. or hate?
LOVE. Only love. Anyone who knows me would know. I love my brother to bits and vice versa :)

7. Favourite perfume that you can’t live without.
Right now, It's Lady Million by Paco Rabanne. But I have always been in love with my Elizabeth Arden Green Tea fragrance.

8. What is the one gift that you want for your next birthday?
Perfect question coz birthday is next month! I would really love a new cell phone!

9. Do you believe in love at first sight?
NO.

10. What’s your favourite song right now?

Soyabean Chunks/ Granules. All protein and superb overall!!

First of all wishing everyone a very Happy New Year!!!

I started 2012 on a very amazing note, but more on that later. For now, I have to see how many things I managed to strike off my checklist in 2011!! So here it goes.

1. Health is wealth. Concentrate on my health and overall well being.

Joined a Gym in June. So I am 15 kilos lighter and looking much better. Feels great to get back in shape!!! :)

3. Learn to get out of my shell. Dance like no ones watching me.

Typing this after I gave 5 back to back dance performances yesterday, belly dancing, zumba, bollywood mixed! So yes this is a HUGE check!

4. Focus more on my career path this year. Get a freaking job!

5. Take a trip, with a friend. Or even all alone. Just some me time.

Took 3 trips this year. Went to Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Port Blair, Chennai, Kolhapur, Goa and Pune.

6. Learn to trust people. But not to over trust them.

7. Give space, take space. Give respect, take respect.

Have been doing better on this one too!

8. Buy a new cellphone.

9. Get a new hair do.

Got a new hair do THRICE this year! Yay me :P

I tend to grind my teeth sometimes when I am thinking really hard.

#3. Do you have any weird phobias?

Other than that of Water (Drowning), I have a huge phobia of Pigeons. I did a whole post on that one here.

#5. What's one of your biggest pet peeves?

When people promise to do something and they don't end up doing it. Don't say you would do something if you aren't sure about it, especially when you change decisions at the last moment.

#6. What's one of your nervous habits?

I talk incessantly when I'm nervous!

#7. What side of the bed do you sleep on?

If the windows are closed, then I sleep on the window side. Else, away from the window (refer to my fear of Pigeons).

#8. What was your first stuffed animal & it's name?

My first stuffed animal was a furry Monkey which could be worn like a backpack. I never named it though, he was always "Monkey". I still have it!

#9. What's the drink you ALWAYS order at Barista?

I ALWAYS order the Dark Temptation. But other than that it's usually Iced Cafe Mocha or Brrrista Blast.

#10. What's the one rule you preach.. but never ACTUALLY practice?

To let go. I have been trying to instill that unto myself though.

#11. Which way do you face in the shower?

I kinda keep moving all around! :P

#12. Do you have any 'weird' body 'skills'?

Not really! I am boring :| Oh yes I can snap with all my finger tips.

#13. What's your favorite 'comfort food'/food thats 'bad' but you love to eat it anyways?

There should be a long list for this one. Mmm but right now off the top of my head, I wanna eat Deep Fried Butter :|

OMG. I am completely an OMG girl! :P

What do you mean what am I ACTUALLY wearing? (naughty).... Well I am wearing a loose black tee and pink PJ's with black stars on it :P

Tag Time - My Sins Against Gender Stereotypes... Yay!

Alright, so let me give this a try... Ummm

1. When I was young, and people gave a call at home for some or the other reason, they always thought I was my brother, and vice versa :P [I used to sound like a guy!] I was a complete tomboy, I had very few girl friends and I used to play cricket with the guys every evening!

2. I love taking "panga". I was always notorious. Sure, I looked like this innocent girl who could do no wrong, but only I know how many girls' plates have I studded with pen pencil lead and threw rockets in class and got punished this one time for beating a guy :| [I was a very good student though].

3. I dress for comfort. I don't know if that counts as anything, but I would be rarely seen decking up unless it is a really special occasion and it is absolutely imperative to do so. I have literally gone out with friends wearing bathroom slippers at one point of time.

4. I was, and still am, ADDICTED to WWE. I love watching it! And The Rock is my eternal hero <3

5. I am an absolute gizmo freak! I love having/knowing about different kinds of gadgets and how they work!

6. I have a huge commitment phobia [Which I am not proud of].

7. I love playing games on Xbox and on my PC and also the old classic video game. Yet to get my hands on PS! But yeah I have exploited the PSP well enough so that can wait for sometime ;)

8. I like looking at ladies (Wonder if this counts?). I really feel attracted to the beauty of women. Do not jump to conclusions. Can't girls check out other girls? It is just appreciation!

9. I chose a career path which was comparatively less taken by the average woman! So well, that is another "sin" :P I have had my share of lows and lowers in this field, but right now I am at rock bottom which I think is a good place, coz' the only way I can go from here, is UP :)

10. Last but not the least, I guess I cannot express myself like the usual girls do. I think guys are like that too, I mean I cannot come out with my emotions very easily. Actually I cannot come out with them at all.

So there, 10 sins against gender stereotype! :)

Another Tag, This time it's Akansha :)

Alright I am on some kind of Tag spree :P But yeah I just read Akansha's Tag [Loved it!] and since she has tagged me, here are 25 things about me you probably don't know :P

1. I actually feel sad when something bad happens with someone. I mean I know everyone show it, but few feel it genuinely. And I am one of them. Honestly I hate this because I get affected when people around me are sad, it makes me feel low too!

2. I love cooking! I am not too bad at cooking either... I love making Italian food and of course, Indian too. But I love learning about new exotic foods and recipes.

3. This one is pretty obvious. I am a total foodie! I love tasting new dishes. Like on that show... "Iron Chef America" I love doing things with various ingredients and tasting them! I went pretty out of the league when I once tried having Duck Confeit and Baked Rabbit as a main course. But I loved it! [Sorry my Vegetarian Friends :) PETA will be killing me for this :P]

4. All these "Things about me" seem to have some order of continuity. Hmmm so I am trying to convert myself into a Vegetarian. [Sorry my Non Vegetarian friends :P]

5. Enough about food now. Hmmm I am a bathroom singer! I sing the best when I am alone, more precisely in the bathroom :P And I am loud!

6. I wanted to be a Journalist eversince I had passed my class 12. And then eventually I found out how it was not feasible for me. But still, I have a passion for writing. Just letting my feelings out! As long as I am still connected to my writing :) It is all good! And besides, flying is one of the best feelings, it gives me inspiration to write more!

7. I have faced many failures and struggles in my life. Nothing ever came easy. I was always, always, ALMOST there. That is the feeling which hurts the most!

8. That is because I get carried away very easily! Atleast I used to... It's better now!

9. I have faced so many Bitches and Dogs in my life, that I am one too now :P Non harmful bitch! I don't think ill of others ever! But yeah I have started to enjoy gosipping!

10. I believe in trying and trying till I succeed. I am a living example of that. Do ask me sometime and I will tell you my dukh bhari dastaan of how I got my Commercial Pilot Licence :P

11. Falling out of love has been easy for me all my life. I get over people very very easily. A month is the maximum that was the worst case scenario.

12. I am very very reserved, maybe that is why I do not have many friends. But the people whom I am close to will agree to this, I do well as a friend :)

13. I talk less! People think it's arrogance but it's just that I cannot talk much! There was a point in my life where I was a non stop chatterbox but now it is the opposite.

14. Continued from 13th, I am a very good listener! Except for Ash :D

15. Continued from 13th too, I talk a lot, in the form of Blogging :P I find written communication a more comfortable medium to express my thoughts and feelings.

18. I love the smell of paint and petrol!

19. I am a typical Taurean, I am a die hard romantic, I have special love for art, in all its forms, I am stubborn, headstrong, and I come across as a very calm person.

20. I lose my temper pretty easily, but that is the temporary temper. It gets restored within a matter of seconds. I have gotten really angry like just 2 times in 22 years. and it was ugly!

21. I love surprises! More than that, I love giving surprises to people! I get so excited when it's someones birthday or something, I would make a huge effort to make the opposite person feel special! Most of the times, I succeed too :P

22. No one, ever, has given me that kind of a surprise :(

23. I am scared of Pigeons. This I am sure most of you know. But wait till you guys see me in person!

I ache : I always have some kind of ache going on. Right now, my neck is aching!
I was not : As headstrong as I am now.

I read : Anything but my study material! But on a more serious note, that is what I read :| And nowadays I read BLOGS! Especially Writers Lounge, and it has so much stuff that I am having a hard time catching up!

I fight : When I fight, its WAR!
I write : for bliss! Writing makes me feel at complete peace!
I win : calories every time I eat :| I have them in abundance!
I lose : fights with Ash. Every single time!
I never : Sleep without brushing my teeth, no matter how drunk or wasted I am!

I am scared : of Pigeons... All the friggin way! I am so scared of them! They don't let me sleep!

I imagine: Oh I Imagine so many things, Right now I am imagining myself in Paris.. Shopping!

The one who posts stuff just because his fellow blogger posted something and takes it as a competition. Blogging ain't no competition brother, It is what your mind speaks!

I'm a pure dark chocolate girl :) Even the Ice Cream I have is Chocolate with Chocolate chips and that too on a Chocolate Waffle Cone.

Invest half. Save 1/4th and Splurge with the other 1/4th!

Errr... I was yawning and this fly just went into my mouth. My guess is I might have eaten it coz I never saw it back again :P

21 years, 8 months, 12 days old :)

17. How do you vent out your anger?
Abusing! Yelling for no reason and complete random people :|

18. Favourite toy as a child?
OMG I have this huge toy collection from childhood of 106 soft toys! I love them all! But I had this monkey backpack which was my favourite <3

18. Favourite season?
Winter! Snow, Jackets, Mufflers, Scarves and Boots... And hot hot coffee :) And.. Christmas!

19. When was the last time you cried?
About an hour ago.

20. Who is the friend you have had the longest?
My friend Bhumika. We have been friends since the 2nd grade. I was 7 yrs old that time. So 14 long years!!

21. What did you do last night?
I did not sleep! Spoke to my brother all night as he was leaving this morning for a vacation for 2 months! And then watched Nacho Libre and then bid him Goodbye :)

22. Favorite day of the week?
Everyday is Sunday for me as of now :P

A Diamond ring, with a Princess diamond, and surrounded with diamonds. Set in diamond studded platinum. What you lookin at? /:) It is my birth stone!

Single and rich... Anyday!

Shut the window coz of the irritating Pigeons and their Gutar Gutar outside :|. I do this, Every single day!! Even in Mumbai and even in New Delhi :|

The one who would keep me happy all my life. Basically the one who can be my best friend more than a best lover. Love fades away with time but friendship stays forever!

27.Would you give all in a relationship ?
I think I should not. But I think I will if I feel it is right.

Probably a 1000 bacteria are eating up my throat.

29.Do you prefer being single or in a relationship?
I prefer being in a relationship which gives me and also demands from me the perks of being single at times :P By that I mean not going to other men/women. Just space and some time out alone /:)
