My first 55 Fiction!

As the policemen took attendance that morning, every inmate answered back. Except one.

The warden arrived in Andy’s cell.

He tore out the poster of Andy’s glamor girl. He was shocked.

“HOW did he dig a Kilometer long hole?”

Andy’s effort of 19 years paid off, Thanks to that Rock Hammer.

Hope makes Impossible, Possible.

P.S. This was my first ever 55 Fiction, thanks to the inspiration and encouragement from Kajal and Neeraj. You guys rock! Love you both! And I know, it is not entirely original. I just could not help but realize that the epitome of the essence of this kind of composition has to be somewhere in the Shawshank Redemption!

Shawshank Redemption is my favorite movie. So to see a 55 word fiction piece based on it was nice.

My favorite quote in the movie is when Red says ,"I have to remind myself that some birds aren't meant to be caged. Their feathers are just too bright. And when they fly away, the part of you that knows it was a sin to lock them up does rejoice."

Quirky!

Yet another common trait! It is my favorite movie too! I remember that quote...

The movie made my life change, the way I looked at everything!
